Content Guidelines

Please review these content guidelines when you begin writing your guest blog post or guest contribution. We will only accept content that follows these guidelines:

  • The content must be 100% original. Any article with poor grammar mistakes, re-spun content, plagiarized, or duplicate content from other sites and sources will be automatically rejected by our editorial team.
  • Any grammatical or spelling errors
  • Your post must have a targeted keyword throughout the entire article.
  • Use a casual tone throughout the content. Imagine you are talking to a friend or family member. Use that same conversational tone throughout the piece of content.
  • Hand Pointing Right
Your article should be between 1,500 to 2,500 words.
  • Hand Pointing Right
If we accept your content, we reserve all the rights of your content. Republishing the content on your website or blog is strictly prohibited, and will affect SEO on both sites.
  • Hand Pointing Right
All the facts you use within the content must be backed by authoritative sources. Please do not use outbound links excessively. Keep it to a maximum of 3 to 4 external links for a 1500 words article. You are allowed one link within the content to your website. However, we reserve all rights to remove or edit any link.
  • Hand Pointing Right
The article must be appropriately formatted for easy readability. Paragraphs should contain no more than three lines, and there shouldn’t be excessively long sentences. Include the use of sub-headings and bullet points to help readers follow the content and break up the content into readable, relevant sections.
  • Hand Pointing Right
Use 3-5 high-quality royalty free images to support the content in your post.
  • Hand Pointing Right
After we publish the content to our website, we ask that you share the post on your social media accounts.

Do All Submissions Get Published?

Unfortunately, we cannot publish every single post we receive. We hold our every single one of our guest contributors to high standards and only approve the best content that matches our audience interests. That means we don’t accept articles that are too promotional or feels like an advertisement.

Ready to Submit Your Pitch?

If you find that you are ready to submit your guest contribution idea and meet all the guidelines we stated above then follow the instructions below:

  • Content-Type: Informative articles/trendy topics/how-to guides
  • A few sentences on what you would like to discuss and why you believe it would make an excellent contribution to the site. (Note: If you have multiple ideas, share them all!)
  • 3 links to previous work.
  • Author Bio of 100 to 200 characters
  • Social media links (Preferable – Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Ensure that the email you use in your submission matches the email address associated with your Gravatar account so we may use the profile photo associated.
  • Send the content as a Google Doc. It is easier and more efficient to write your post in a Google Doc from the beginning, rather than upload or copy it from Microsoft Word to Google.
  • After we receive your guest post pitch, we will get back to you within 2 weeks and offer feedback on the next steps. If you don’t hear from us, send it again as it may have gotten caught in our spam email.
